About Me

I began studying for my NVQ in Hairdressing course at the age of seventeen. Ten years of working in office and management roles along with continuing using my hairdressing skills on the side, I longed for a change.

I stated by attending a variety of courses in the nail and beauty industry, and here my passion grew. I worked from my home, mobile and in a salon, giving me lots of experience. I watched my trainers on every course and knew that I could offer the same ‘I could do that’.

My journey in facial aesthetics stemmed from a career in offering beauty treatments and providing private further education training. You may have known me as ‘Spray Tans of Norwich’ from about Twelve years ago when I offered a variety of hair, beauty and nail services, specialising in hair extensions and spray tans.

For twelve years I have been busy teaching and managing my training centre which is going well. I have two children, aged five and eleven years I split my time between family, educating and clients. I have found my passion, I love transforming faces, enhancing natural beauties.

I went on to running my own training centre, SurePass Beauty Academy, which has now been running successfully for twelve years. Offering courses in Hair, Beauty, Nails, Holistic Therapy and Aesthetics. It brings me joy teaching others and watching them blossom.

Four years ago I decided to move into the field of aesthetics and I have fallen in love since. I completed my Level 4 in Microblading, Level 4 in Micropigmentation, Level 4 in Facial Aesthetics, Level 5 Aesthetics & currently working towards my Level 7 as an Aesthetics Practitioner.

I now specialise in offering permanent makeup and injectables to clients and teaching it too.

My friend recommended me to Kirsty after months of me putting it off I finally went and had micropigmentation on my lips! I initially met with Amanda for my consultation and test patch, chose the perfect colour and I was at ease knowing I was getting a professional treatment. She involves you in the colour choosing process by putting some different options on your skin so you can see exactly how the colour suits your hair/skin tone then once she has drawn on the shape she will check if there are any changes you want to make and only once you’re completely happy will she proceed. I was very nervous about my microblading appointment but Kirsty put me at ease straight away. From initial consultation to the day of the appointment Kirsty has answered any questions or concerns I have had. Kirsty helps with the choosing of colours and shapes and doesn’t start until she knows you’re happy and checks how you are throughout the whole experience.
