Summer Ready Skin

How to get your skin ready for Summer

Making holiday plans and purchasing a new swimsuit helps emotionally prepare yourself for summertime, but your skin may require some attention as well. You just need a few basic steps to get lovely, clear skin that you’ll be proud to show off.

Getting Rid of Cellulite
First and foremost, the fantastic news: Some treatments may be able to smooth away cellulite’s undesirable bumps. The bad news is that they will not permanently remove cellulite. The flattening and reducing effect is temporary, as are many great things in life. Still, for a day at the beach or a special occasion, it may be worth smearing on a toning body cream to make your skin appear and feel tighter.

Caffeine and theophylline-containing products briefly dehydrate fat cells. The massage and application of the cream, on the other hand, accomplish the job. Long-term, the best approach is frequent exercise combined with specialised massage.

Applying a fake tan is another approach to conceal cellulite. Use the most recent self-tanners, which have gone a long way from the powerfully streaky lotions or sprays of the past. The formulas have come a long way as the colours are much more natural, there is no smearing, and the fragrance is much nicer.

Use Food to Fight UV Rays
All of your efforts to keep your skin looking beautiful will be fruitless unless you protect it from the sun’s harmful radiation, which is at its peak during the warmer months. Interestingly, you can also shield yourself from within. If you’re going to be out in the sun, eat grilled tomatoes each day in addition to suncream.

Cooked tomatoes, according to a study, are high in lycopene, an antioxidant that helps combat the impacts of UV radiation including inflammation, swelling, and blistering from sunburn. If you want to spend a lot of time outside, tomato sauce, cooked tomatoes may be beneficial. This does not replace suncream, but it may provide extra protection if you are unable to cover your back.

Get Glowing Skin
Exfoliation may be a foundation of a healthy skin routine regardless of the time of year; as far as your skin is not hypersensitive, exfoliating can help you attain a smoother, healthier-looking body that helps you seem more luminous and vibrant. However, it must be done with caution. The objective is to remove the outermost layer of skin cells which are primed to fall off without harming the skin.

Cleaners, polishing towels, and cleansers make it simple to remove difficult areas. Rotary scrubbing brushes remove dead skin cells by gently rubbing them away. Exfoliating wipes, microdermabrasion tools, and grainy scrubs all work in the same manner. Go for an exfoliant that includes coarse particles that disperse over time, to avoid aggravating your skin.

Chemical exfoliation treatments include compounds such as glycolic, salicylic, or polyhydroxy acids, which cause the skin’s outer layer to shed and reveal the new layer.

Taking Care of Your Feet
If you’ve been cramming your feet into boots all wintertime, they’re undoubtedly in need of some Pampering for summer. Start your routine with a spa treatment,  Firstly, use a foot file to reduce tough skin. Apply a thick moisturising lotion or balm to the feet, then cover them in cellophane wrapping and socks. Set aside for the night. Repeat daily until your skin is smooth, then once a week to preserve the benefits.

Hair Removal Without Discomfort
If your holiday plans include spending time at the beach or pool, you may be putting forth some attempt to remove undesirable hair. However, after the wax strip has been removed, it is critical to treat the skin which has been subjected to the outdoors.

Allow your skin to recuperate before laying down your beach towel or engaging in outdoor pursuits. I recommend that customers avoid the sunlight or heat for at least 48 hours after any hair removal treatment. Follicles are prone to irritation, and skin may become sensitive as a result of warmth or pressure from wax, or razors.

Because most of us don’t schedule our hair removal far enough in advance, apply an oil-free sun lotion to your sensitive skin, wait for it to dry, then sprinkle on some baby powder. Wearing loose-fitting clothes and using an after-waxing product that contains glycolic and salicylic acids, that work together to prevent dead cells from generating annoying blemishes.

Get Rid of Body Breakouts
Acne on the body is no better than acne on the face, particularly in the heat when concealing and covering up isn’t an option. The strategy for acne-prone skin on the back, chest, and other parts of the body is the same as it is for treating acne on the face: Exfoliate regularly and avoid picking, massage with appropriate products.

Washing with salicylic acid-containing products helps wash off dead cells; a treatment product containing micronized benzoyl peroxide may also benefit by entering the skin and destroying the microorganisms that cause skin problems.
